I'm literally an anti-federalist, I have read both the federalist and anti-Federalist papers, I believe in small government and when I take any political test I'm always libertarian always, libertarians supported gay rights before Democrats did and I'm not trying to demonize anyone, but neither should anyone demonize me for always doing what I think is in the right. I have been registered libertarian most of my life and besides the few crazies they get to speak I generally support 90% of what they do, I even believe all drugs should be legalized, I always supported gay marriage, limited government, and property rights, don't confuse us with ancaps that have invaded libertarians or the influx of Democrats that did during the elections because they wanted a third choice other than two turds. Btw not trying to argue or anyone just clarifying this is the end of my replies. Unless you're in the mood to talk about it but that's up to you.

You can call it a low move all you want. But you don't get to demand that I evaluate you based on your stated goals, and not on your actions. You take federalist positions, not libertarian ones. You say it should be up to the states, but the libertarian position does not care from what level of the government the tyranny comes from. A state banning gay marriage is as much a rights violation to the true libertarian, of which Ron Paul is not, as the federal government would be. It should also be noted that your response took great lengths to demonize Democratic voters, which is another position libertarianism does not take. Again, this boils down to what you're willing to trade away. He who would give up liberty for the feeling of safety deserves neither. You are not a libertarian. You are a federalist. Your entire response screams conservative Republican. You have confirmed my entire thesis: that you are fine trading away other people's rights, your own sexuality, and fundamental rights, for what you see as constitutional protection. That isn't noble principle. That's not the self-sacrificing patriot. In the face of tyranny, there can be no quarter. Have a good day.

You cannot call yourself a libertarian and be economically conservative and socially liberal. That's not how libertarianism works. Also, no. Reducing it to "you get more conservative as you get older" is something I would expect from a teenager, not someone with experience. And I'm not attacking your character as a rhetorical device. I'm pointing out that the things you trade away in service to the altar of firearms are inexcusable. We don't have to agree. We won't agree. I find your reasoning to be shallow and telling about what kind of a person you are. I do not accept it as valid reasoning. I'm going to step away from this discussion now, since it seems we don't have a center to meet in.

I also said that attacking who I voted for from the beginning was a low move and it's exactly what you did, why not ask me about my views, maybe you assume I think something then ask about it and I'll explain how I think more like you than you realize. Should trans be banned from the military a thing that happened recently, no they shouldn't be banned and pretty much every view will align not that it needs too but I pick who I think is the best of two choices and I still think between the two I made the right choice. But while I am a one issue voter, Democrats with the lies have never in my time being able to vote had those issues in mind, the constitution is freedom of speech, that covers what you say, expression as in art, religion that should include Satanist and Wiccans aren't suppressed, and freedom of the press that should include all press not just official press, the second amendment and others. I have no regrets it was clearing the big lie anti constitution vs constitution and have I the choice between constitution and sexuality well it's clear what my choice will be it comes before my sexuality and even my life, my guns are not for self defense but defense from tyrannical government.

But you didn’t. You voted for a tyrant and expect to not be responsible for the harms that followed. I’m not overthinking anything. The choice was between a woman who was a tyrant but one who largely abides by the law and a man who is a tyrant and, despite his words, his actions showed what he truly believed, and does not abide by the law. Sorry. You don’t have a leg to stand on. And your constant defense of this, in fact, makes you a hateful bigot turning a blind eye to suffering. When you get a little older, you might understand.

@ZeroTheHusky Yeah you're right about that, it doesn't look good to shout cheating every time someone loses, if there really was cheating he wouldn't have won those two elections, actually the fact there isn't widespread voter fraud makes me happy to be American.

@HenryEnigma Watching him melt down over things when they don’t go his way, current California elections are a good example, if republicans aren’t winning, it’s cheating for some reason.

Okay I think you're over thinking it a bit, but no I think my rights to be gay is just as important as my rights to bare arms and those rights are just as important as my our right to freedom of speech, the choice was between a man that said he loved gays but couldn't condone them something I from a strict Pentecostal family and grew up to reject and become atheist understood as their highest level of possible support. Also who said they would leave gay marriage alone but that it should've been states rights. Resonated with me as a libertarian since some of us see states rights as important as federal. And then you have the two lady's where the first said in one place that she supported gun rights where holding something she calls a gun awhile behind the curtains on tape is caught saying the opposite and then doubles down on that during a debate saying she has a private opinion and a public opinion, I seen that as two faced not too mention she only supported the LGBT during her later life less important tho she already made it clear from the two face opinions. Where the second lady was a harsh prosecutor who seemed to share the same traits where everything she said seemed like either pandering or was anti constitutional. If I could've voted Ron Paul in instead or even Rand Paul I would've.

Hi Henry. I'm glad you asked, and I'm happy to explain where I'm coming from. I swore an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America from all enemies, foreign and domestic. I am acutely aware of and defensive of the Constitution. I appreciate that you vote for who you think will uphold it the most. That's noble. If your highest concern is the Second Amendment, you may sincerely believe you are voting to protect the Constitution. As a gun owner myself, I resonate. But if the people you vote for also attack equal protection under the law, due process, free expression, religious neutrality, privacy, or the dignity and safety of different groups of people, then others are going to notice what you were willing to trade away. That does not mean you wake up every day thinking, "I hate gay people/trans people/furries/liberals/whoever." It means those people might look at your priorities and conclude, reasonably, that their rights are negotiable to you. Your own sexuality, unfortunately, does not give you a pass to be excused from the harms you defend or ignore. That is usually what people mean when they say use terms like hateful bigot. It's not that you're cartoonishly evil. It's that when the choice comes, you will protect the part of the Constitution that affects you personally and excuse the harm done to the parts the protect others. That's just human nature, but human nature also gives us the ability to have empathy and to defend others rather than just worry about ourselves. Also, the current administration is not the frontrunner for defending the Constitution, considering they're plausibly on track for the highest number of violations of any administration in US history. Whether or not the alternative would have been better is anyone's guess, but I do know that the current harms are palpable, and when people who profess to respect the dignity of others turn a blind eye to it, they can't then clutch their pearls at the prospect of others recognizing hatred and bigotry. Active hate is easy to recognize. Passive hate is more dangerous.

@MoronMining Well they have a valid point, but I think the oppression of LGBT is in the past in western society, there should be action but it should be organized by the west and take place in the middle eastern where oppression is still strong.

Explain how I'm hateful or bigoted, tell me one view that I have that is that way? I want to know because I truly believe this conservative hate is from ignorance. If you're the type to go as low as saying who I vote for know that I'm very much a one issue voter and that's almost always who I think will uphold the constitution the most.

Look the Christen thing is one thing I'm atheist myself, but what did conservatives ever do against the community? let's say for argument we're talking conservative libertarians, as conservative Republicans are only just now starting to adapt to us, gay and furry Republicans are raising but it has a ways to go.

Most of them can't really be open about being Christian or conservative. Usually the fandom will backlash them pretty hard and they will be "excommunicated " from furry events, web sites, etc. More times than not . the community will come together to harass those who give out any information about the fandom in a negative light or go against the general political views of the fandom.
