🇺🇸BIG WIN for MILITARY FAMILIES: As a part of the annual defense package Congress is voting on THIS WEEK, I helped secure a MANDATORY increase in pay for our military families separated due to their duty stations. Being an active-duty parent is no easy feat, but this much-needed pay adjustment helps ease the weight our military parents carry.

School safety remains of paramount importance to me. That’s why I supported House passage of @RepTonyGonzales's National Strategy for School Security Act, which requires @DHSgov to develop best practices for schools across the country so all children can learn in a safe environment. I will continue to work with the victims’ families of these terrible tragedies to make sure this issue remains a priority for all members of Congress.
