@Ella1776Ann This is tradition after every inauguration. She’s been the Bishop there since like 2010ish so it was all on her to choose this approach to stake her reputation. I suggest contacting the National Cathedral directly with your disapproval.

Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde is the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington. She's the first woman to hold the position. She was given a great honor today, a chance to unify America around a Christian message at the dawn of a new administration. Instead, she disgraced herself with a lecture you'd hear on CNN or an episode of The View. What an embarrassment.

For anyone at the Capital One Arena, don’t forget Union Station main entrance is closed when you’re leaving the arena. Union Station Metrorail station remains open via Massachusetts Ave. or 1st St. NE entrances.

Question:
It says that the event is at the Gaylord National, but it has the address listed as 165 Waterfront Street. Gaylord National is at 201 Waterfront Street. Wondering which one of the address or the location given is correct? (These addresses aren’t that far apart, I’m sure I can find it, just wondering what address to put in for an Uber)

Many reps and Senators have opted not to hand out any additional tickets this weekend. They will be mailing them instead. Please check with which over office you are picking up from before making the trek into downtown DC. The two Senators’ offices I spoke with said Capitol One Arena will be first come first serve. Will update if I hear differently.

@Inauguration_25 Yeah I tried that today and was not impressed. The thing is that nobody is saying anything about what is going on. May be by design but the issue was once it was full nobody knew. Need to find a watch party!!

If you are at the inauguration rally, when you get into Capital One Arena, put your phone in AIRPLANE MODE. If you don’t, it will be searching and competing for signal and drain your battery super fast! #inauguration
