@samhatesspurs Only aesthetics separate them. Salah last season put up one of the greatest league seasons ever. Enough for me to overtake him. Salah didn’t have the luxury of playing with the greatest player of all time.

Watch him at Liverpool, man. Obviously he’s been way better than I expected at Bayern, and I was wrong, but at Liverpool he was not good, and was incredibly selfish. Environment matters. I don’t regret what I said at the time. But Top 5? He’s not better than anyone I mentioned there.

Don’t get me wrong, I still believe in Tel, and I understand why he was the way he was today (wanting to take his chance). But I think he took it too hard. More games, more secure minutes, he’ll tame down a bit and mature.

In the end, good fight. But I think inexperience showed. Tel too greedy. Xavi too slow in his decision making to release passes. Ultimately, I think it prevented Tottenham from creating more good chances. Set pieces incredibly disappointing too. Not going to blame Tel, but whoever’s instruction it was to play those deep corners should be ashamed. You have the height advantage, just aim it to where the bodies are. Positives, Gray was superb. Like prime Dembele. Romero was great. Dragusin was good defensively. Vicario was good. Kolo Muani was good.
