@xMBGx "Strategy Shift internally" Yeah Nishino is definitely undoing the mess Jim Ryan caused during his tenure. Going back to making actual exclusive games people want like they did during the PS4 era.

Jason Blundell also confirmed the studio had 20 employees in total and that there is no bad blood between them and Sony. He explained there was a strategy shift internally at PlayStation that unfortunately left them on the chopping block.

@tdawgsmitty The only banger part that might come out of the game is the campaign since that's practically the only thing IW is useful for, but if by some miracle they do release a good game, then I'll gladly retract. But I wouldn't hold my breathe for IW to release a good Cod.

Higher revenue will start coming in once they place their full focus on Playstation only, and deliver more exceptional exclusives like they did in the PS4 gen.

It seems like PlayStation is making a lot of changes this year in preparation for next-gen. Some hard lessons learned during the PS5 generation. New leadership now in place and wanting to be as well positioned for the PS6 generation as possible.

PlayStation is eliminating the "PlayStation Network" and "PSN" branding by September 2026. It will unify its digital services, including expanded PC integration, while keeping core features like multiplayer and trophies intact.

Can I admit something to the timeline. This is the first time maybe ever that I’ve had no desire to make call of duty content. Feel like every decision they’ve made from MWII on has been the wrong one and they’ve burned so many people that I’m not sure they’ll come back even if mw4 is a good game.
