Regardless of the ultimate outcome, there is a legal process. One element in that process is that a “controversy” must exist. This requires a person with “standing” and the case must be “ripe” for adjudication. None of those existed until the outcome of the election. Had the case been filed before the vote, and the vote had gone the other way, the case would have been “moot”. My point is, there is nothing suspect about the timing of this lawsuit.

The people who filed this claim and the Judge who ruled on it, waited until after the election. Why? That’s bullshit. If this bill was illegal to begin with, then this should’ve been filed when the bill was put on the ballot. The Virginia appeals court will overturn it, and the state Supreme Court will uphold the appeals court. Boo Hoo MAGOTS.

BREAKING: A Republican-appointed Virginia judge has struck down the Democratic-backed redistricting amendment in full, ruling it unconstitutional and “void from the start.” All votes from the April 21 special election are now invalid, and the state is permanently blocked from using or implementing the new maps. AG Jay Jones says he will immediately file an appeal.

Tell me you're an idiot without telling me you're an idiot. Gerrymandering has been going on since 1812 -- over 200 years. It began with a DEMOCRAT governor of Massachusetts, Eldridge Gerry (hence the name, "gerrymander"). Stop slurping up that gobbledegook the Democrats are feeding you. This is not something that just started this year with Orange Man. What a fucking moron you are!

@JDGarrett15 @Cjpearson @Ghostofcynthia @Republicans They have. This started with republicans literally doing this. The only reason this was done by democrats was to counter republicans doing this. Because trump needed to do something to keep republicans in majority. Also, 9 of the 10 most gerrymandered states are republican.

Following tonight’s results in Virginia, every Republican Governor in a red state should immediately call a special session to redraw their congressional maps. If the Democrats don’t want to play fair, so be it. If they want to go low, it’s time we go to the basement.

I recall reviewing his “Keys” and thinking they were fairly accurate. What was not accurate was his TDS-influenced subjective application and interpretation as applied to the 2024 election. Things like Biden administration being scandal free, or the most laughable assessment that Biden was charismatic and Trump was not.

Do you remember Allan Lichtman? He's that academic who authoritatively put forth his "13 Keys to the White House" theory that said Trump would lose the 2024 Election. Well, that's who Robert Pape is now with his "Escalation Trap" theory of the Iran War And you know, it's possible that Robert Pape will ultimately be right about this thing escalating much much farther, but a broken clock is also right twice a day Because nothing about his interpretation of events so far show me that he is anything but an academic that's become a slave to the overly deterministic model that he's spent a career creating All conflicts are about escalation and deescalation, and just because he seems to have cornered the market on this concept doesn't make anything he says any more relevant The fact that there was essentially a deal in place on Friday should put to rest any notion that escalation is inevitable or that air-power cannot achieve military goals So maybe Trump will pull off a negotiate peace, or will have to push on further...but Pape is certainly not a serious commentator on the evolution of this conflict with his cherry picked interpretation of events

@TaraBull @mattvanswol You do realize that the job of a lawyer is to represent the client, right? Regardless of how much of a scumbag a client may be, we are obligated to make these motions, even when we know they are frivolous. It’s called “due process” and it’s enshrined in our Constitution.

The Strait of Hormuz is blockaded. Europe's plan? Ursula von der Leyen: "The cheapest energy is the one you don't use." Stay home, don't drive, don't use electricity. The EU has no plan and no military to change do anything. So they are stuck with "monitoring the situation"

There is a difference in the International Red Cross and the American Red Cross. Things may have changed, but when I was in the Army, the American Red Cross was responsible for, and assisted me, with emergency travels back home when I had a death in the family. Maybe things are different now.

Major point of disagreement with President Trump today following him saying Americans “support” the Red Cross The Red Cross is evil. NO American should support them - They HANDED OUT MAPS for third worlders to invade our country - Attempted to SEIZE Starlinks deployed by me and @ChrisHallWx in Western North Carolina to reconnect victims of Hurricane Helene (they wanted to be the WiFi gatekeepers) - Tried THROWING AWAY hot food we donated to shelters near Asheville, simply because they wanted to be able to bill TAXPAYERS for each plate of slop they were force-feeding to victims My Red Cross rage is actually how I first met @mattvanswol, who helped me coordinate relief efforts. Red Cross is a corrupt organization, and it should be dissolved.

I presume he is referring to the money Canada spends on their military, by spending 70% of their military budget purchasing equipment from USA suppliers. I was unaware that there was a Canadian version of Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrup Grumman or General Dynamics. What's your alternative supplier, China, Russia? Excellent strategy. Go ahead and get your military equipment from your enemies. What's the worst thing that could happen?? Folks, this is why NATO is dead, dead, dead!

@AlphaPulseGlobe @Osint613 Can you explain your statement “US still needs the strait open”? You throw that line out there like it’s a given, a priori. Why do we “need” the strait open? We don’t “need” anything from that region.

"Bad news for Iran much more than for the US." That's the official line. We walked away, not them. But the subtext is that the US couldn't close the deal either. Vance is spinning failure as strength. The "we go back to the US having not come to an agreement" is a convoluted way of saying the talks collapsed. Message is clear. The administration is already pivoting to blame Iran for the breakdown. The problem is that the US still needs the strait open. And Iran still controls it. Vance's tough talk sounds good on cable news. On the water, nothing has changed. The tankers are still turning back. The insurance is still unavailable. The "bad news" might be for everyone.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance: "The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement. And I think that's bad news for Iran much more than it's bad news for the United States of America. So, we go back to the U.S. having not come to an agreement. They have chosen not to accept our terms."

Fairfax County is one of the most liberal areas, maybe in the country. It is packed with liberal white elites like these two women (who probably both voted for this Commonwealth Attorney) who undoubtedly tell you how great the public schools are in the county. I am heartbroken that this has been allowed to happen to these girls. I’m beyond angry that their parents’ ignorance permitted the system (through their voting) to develop and fester. And now their children are the victims. Great job, parents.

🚨WATCH: Parents are furious after they say a male student, who is in the country illegally, groped several girls in between their legs in the hallway at Fairfax High School in Virginia. The male student will be 19-years-old soon. ICE says he crossed the southern border in 2024. He’s charged with nine counts of assault and battery, a misdemeanor. But some parents I spoke to want him to be charged with sexual assault.
