@AlissaLindemann I prefer 1st person! I have done other but I like to be able to get up close and personal with the MC.That said, I write psychological adjacent stuff. Am in the process of changing an entire manuscript from 3rd person to 1st.

So I’m now seeing people disparage 1st person POV but this whole time ya’ll have been acting like my beloved 3rd person is the devil. Which is it?! Because now I’m finally having success writing in 1st person and people are complaining about it. 😂
