@nhl_review Then there were tons of fans that made it clear they'd rather their team at the canes in the first round than any other team. It's all silly

First Carolina power play wasn't half bad. Couple of scrambles. Staal had a chance. And it creates another one after Blake is crosscheck. ANDREI ANDREI ANDREI

@FutureCanes @emanningwrites I'm so glad you made it down for a game. That's amazing. And I'd an amazing place to see a game. Salt my family and I just moved away at the start of the finals so I am missing all of it in person

@itskeefis @wyshynski The play was dead due to "goaltender Interference" because the puck went in they can challenge and if it is determined goalie interference didn't occur it would then be a good goal I believe

Just to be clear: The call was not that ref killed the play. It was that Barbashev didn't allow Andersen to play his position. That's what the Situation Room reviewed, confirmed by NHL director of officiating Steve Walkom. They *should* have announced play was dead. They didn't.
Sean@SperryTime

Guys, in no fucking world is this a good goal. I actually cannot believe the amount of outrage on this. That puck disappears for a hot second, Andersen appears to have covered it, it’s out of sight, ref makes the decision to blow the whistle, puck squirts out. As soon as the ref makes the decision, the play is dead. The whistle is not the determining factor. The decision is. And the ref is absolutely justified in his decision here.

@corylav Both things are penalty. But the fact that they lean hard on how blatant staals was but a glove punch to the face while checking someone after a dump in is referred to as "there isn't much there" is sort of silly
