@DroidLiberator @TheLincoln That's exactly what I think, too -- they should have just made an ongoing "Marvel Team-Up" TV series with 12-episode seasons, rotate between Loki, Falcon, Ms. Marvel, etc., make them *slightly* more interconnected and more done-in-one. Great marketing for the films.

@TheLincoln They screwed up by making all the shows limited runs. It adds up too much too fast, and now there's a barrier of entry or a "i must catch up" barrier to all their new interconnected content.

Kida interesting how the MCU went from culturally ubiquitous thing everyone talks about to culturally ubiquitous thing no one talks about.
Somehow there is still a new film or show every other month, yet no one I know ever watches them or talks about them even to hate.

@SkySantana It's genuinely fun and enriching to learn, though! I bought a cookbook I liked and asked my partner if she'd be up for making it date night for a few months--picking out something we liked, going shopping for the stuff, and cooking together. Solving the puzzle is fulfilling.

@foreverimbetter It’s also not even true. I live in a town of less than 6K. All our home prices doubled in 2020 and haven’t come back down. We opened a small business earlier but out building was bought and rent went up 50%. We can’t move because all the other rents are Miami Beach level.

Nobody likes hearing this, but Gen Z has the opportunity to pull off the greatest small town revival in American history. The millennials fled their hometowns in droves, leaving a vacuum. Now look at any town under 25k pop. and find a craftsman home for about $100k.

The AI critics have been proved right about basically everything so far. But one thing that has surprised me is how much the companies are trying to FORCE us to look at GenAI. Top of every Google search. Bottom of every viral tweet. No way to let users turn off. Seems desperate.
