10 years ago today, we lost Prince. A genius, a one-man genre, an architect of what music could sound like when imagination had no ceiling. 💜

oh they REALLY don't care over there. I think we’re being trolled. this is the worst, most laziest shit I’ve ever seen. Even Prince’s worst tracks have better artwork than this. Purple Rain font for a 1991 song? that's like putting the Symbol on a Dirty Mind reissue.
PRINCE LEGION@PRNLegion

Here is the artwork for Prince's demo of "With This Tear," which is being officially released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his passing. The song was written for Céline Dion and appeared on her 1992 self-titled album.

When simulation becomes the norm, it weakens the human capacity for discernment. As a result, our social bonds close in upon themselves, forming self-referential circuits that no longer expose us to reality. We thus come to live within bubbles, impermeable to one another. Feeling threatened by anyone who is different, we grow unaccustomed to encounter and dialogue. In this way, polarization, conflict, fear and violence spread. What is at stake is not merely the risk of error, but a transformation in our very relationship with truth.

In '94, Prince released a graphic adventure video game where players explored the different rooms of Paisley Park & solved puzzles to collect the 5 pieces of Prince’s symbol. Inside the rooms were interactive media including songs, music videos & more This is what it looked like

Wake up, kids We got the dreamers disease. ‘Radical’ comes from a Latin word meaning "root." Because roots are the deepest part of a plant, ‘radical’ came to describe things understood as fundamental or essential. ‘Radical change’ was a change at the root of a system.

8th station: Mothers weep for their children "imprisoned during protests, deported by policies devoid of compassion, shipwrecked on desperate journeys of hope, killed in war zones, & wiped out in death camps." Grant us, Lord, a maternal heart & tears of compassion.

Death is always lurking. We see it in violence, in the wounds of the world, in the cry of pain that rises from every corner because of the abuses that crush the weakest among us, because of the idolatry of profit that plunders the earth’s resources, because of the violence of war that kills and destroys. #Easter

“A new way,” and it’s the Great Writ, which draws its history as far back as Henry II.
Jennie Taer@JennieSTaer

NEW: Illegal immigrants have found a new way to get released from ICE detention centers, throwing a massive wrench into the Trump administration’s deportation plan. Since Trump returned to the White House, illegal immigrants have filed more than 18,000 habeas petitions challenging their detention in federal courts. Its more than the number of such challenges filed over the last three administrations put together. U.S. Attorney in the District of Arizona Timothy Courchaine told @realDailyWire his office went from receiving 10 habeas petitions in immigration cases to “nearly a thousand” since Trump returned to the White House. “In most of them, they are [granting bond] … so we’ve been losing almost all of these and the folks will be released,” he said. dailywire.com/news/illegal-i…
