.@discord @discord_support I am writing this with genuine concern regarding the suspension of my discord account (@ siddharthz) for “ban evasion.” I truly believe this action has been applied in error. Discord has been a major part of my daily life for over 5 years. As a developer, I rely on it heavily for communication and staying connected with communities and people I work with. I want to clearly state that I have never attempted to evade a ban, nor have I used alternate accounts in violation of Discord’s policies. I have always tried to follow the rules and use the platform responsibly. The only explanation I can think of is a combination of factors. I am currently using a university network where many users share the same IP address, and I also recently logged into Discord from a new MacBook. This account contains years of conversations, connections, and work that I cannot recover, and it is genuinely important for both my personal and professional use. It is possible that this combination of a new device and shared network caused my account to be mistakenly flagged as linked to another user. I completely understand the importance of enforcing rules, but in this case, I believe there has been a misunderstanding. I respectfully ask for a manual review of my account.
