It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the death of another partner staff member, Hana Abu Meiri, 37, who succumbed to her wounds yesterday after being seriously injured in an Israeli airstrike on a WFP-warehouse operated by our partner @MAANDevelopment on January 6. Hana is the second partner staff member to be killed by this attack, alongside, Abdullah Tayseer Aziz, 42, who succumbed to his injuries on January 7. Hana leaves behind four children, including a four-month-old newborn baby. We offer our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the quick recovery of the third staff member who was also injured in this attack. We also reiterate our call for the protection of civilians and humanitarian workers across the Gaza Strip.
