@IRSsmallbiz @IRSnews Paying taxes on IRS app, I have recurring problems: (1) the app doesn't alert me right up front that certain web browsers don't work, and (2) the form calls for SSN, which I enter without hyphens, but the site puts them in and flags it as an error!

The April 15 tax deadline is here. The #IRS has electronic filing options, payment options and what to do if you can’t file by the deadline or pay your tax bill in full: irs.gov/filing #Freedom250

@Oceanbreeze473 I agree, but you wouldn't believe what families fight over !

@Amelia558rs You aren't marrying your friends. As you grow personally, the backbone to make choices gets stronger (and you change friends as you grow 😊).

My maid of honor looked at this dress I'd spent eight months waiting for and said, "That's... not a wedding dress. It's a costume." The words hit like ice water. I'd fallen in love with the embroidery after seeing the seamstress's work on the Tedooo app - she specializes in traditional dresses, and I wanted something that honored my grandmother's heritage. Every flower was hand-stitched, every hummingbird placed with intention. It cost me three months of savings and countless late-night messages about thread colors and placement.
Now I'm two months from the wedding, and my entire bridal party is "gently suggesting" I find something more "classic." My mother-in-law offered to buy me a "proper" dress from David's Bridal. But when I put this on, I see my grandmother's garden, her stories about village celebrations, the culture she left behind when she immigrated. Yes, it's not a traditional white gown. Yes, people might whisper. But isn't a wedding dress supposed to make you feel like the truest version of yourself? I'm torn between keeping peace and keeping this dress that makes my heart sing every time I look at those embroidered birds.

@MbarkCherguia The restaurant is absolutely right.
One local restaurant owner nearby has the backbone to send customers out who are mistreating her staff. Good on her.

This lady is at an HOA meeting and she is complaining that the landscapers in the neighborhood appear to be “hanging around”when they take their lunch breaks.
Landscaping is back breaking work. Many of the landscapers are dropped off by the company owner or foreman. The only place they have to eat or take their break to get out of the sun is under a shaded tree.
Many people even offer their landscapers drinks and food.
The guy in the green shirt is disgusted that she brought it up.
Should HOA’s tell landscapers to go somewhere else during their lunch breaks or should people like this woman worry about themselves.

@noplaceforsheep And don't get me started on those people who don't know about earbuds for that thing they're listening to on their phone or the annoying kiddie device on speaker!

At dinner last night, outside table, balmy late summer evening. 2 women arrive with 4 dogs, sit near us, one dog barks & barks & barks & barks.
Lose my temper, say I didn’t come out to dinner to listen to your fucking dog barking, we can’t have a conversation here, make it stop.
Puts dog on her lap & it shuts up. Gives me death stare for rest of evening.
WTF is it with some dog owners? I mean, really, why would you expect other people to put up with your fucking barking dog when they’re out to dinner? 🤷♂️

@mitchellvii Let me know when you find that super smooth, very quiet ride with some get-up-go, the option of self-driving, hybrid fuel, SUV, and all kinds of creature comforts.

I'm out car shopping this weekend.
I thought I was going to buy a Genesis but after test driving them I just didn't feel like it was the car for me. I found the ride surprisingly rough.
I just drove Cadillac Lyriq which is their EV SUV. Now that's a gorgeous car. My problem is right now I'm living in a bad spot to have an EV.
Is if I was living in an urban area I would pick it up in a second.
So still looking. Open to suggestions.

@elonmusk The safety for the animals is great, but I appreciate additional positives: protecting those in the vehicle and those I may have endangered by swerving (if I could have reacted quickly enough), no damage to the vehicle, no insurance claims, no downtime from having body shop work

Tesla puts a lot of effort into ensuring that our cars don’t run over animals
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt
More than 350 million vertebrate animals are killed by human driven vehicles every year. In general, autonomous vehicles are much better than humans at dodging animals. A compilation I made of @Tesla’s FSD stopping for animals, and often saving their lives:

@MbarkCherguia Blocking the road is not acceptable--stand on the shoulder of the road for your own safety, hold a sign, cry and carry on, but do not interfere with the lives of others.
