So President Ramaphosa just appointed Lt Gen Puleng Dimpane as Acting National Commissioner of SAPS.
Why her? And more importantly ..; what does the president stand to gain?
Look at her background:
·Degree in Commerce & Honours in Business Admin.
·Spent years as SAPS CFO ..; great with spreadsheets, budgets, and audits.
But leading the entire police service? Fighting crime? Strategy against gangs, violent protests, cash-in-transit heists? Nothing.
She joined SAPS in 2007 ..; yes, almost 20 years. But she never bothered to get a single degree in policing, criminology, law enforcement, or public safety. Not even a diploma.
So now she's supposed to be the country's top cop?
This isn't about merit. It's about control. Ramaphosa wants someone who won't rock the boat, who'll clean up "procurement" (i.e., hide the paper trail), and who owes her position to him.
She's a financial manager ..; not a crime fighter. This is like making your accountant the army general.
She’s not fit for the job.
Agree or disagree?

The IRGC’s threat to cut undersea internet cables in the Arabian Gulf will not intimidate anyone.
Most Gulf countries now have advanced satellite internet networks, including Starlink, which operate completely independently of any undersea cables.
Cutting the cables will not stop us. It will only be classified as an international terrorist act and will face a swift, harsh, and decisive response.
The Arabian Gulf is strong, connected, and technologically advanced. Your desperate threats will not halt our progress — they will only deepen your isolation and collapse.

I now understand why NPA never charged the shooter .
After watching dash cam... that couple never expected he had his own gun.. they fired 2 shots and missed him.
He immediately pulled his own gun and shot the husband. He fell dropped gun, wife runs to get it and points it at him he shot her hand. All so fast he is too trained from how he shifted fast and he had to shoot them both.. He had to.
If he didn't have a gun on him, he was the dead one.. The family will find answers on dash cam
