Forty-eight hours later, @citadel signaled it may reconsider a $6 billion redevelopment at 350 Park Avenue, a project tied to 6,000 construction jobs and 15,000 permanent jobs. Citadel says Griffin, employees, and principals have already paid roughly $2.3 billion in New York city and state taxes over the last five years. Griffin already moved Citadel’s headquarters to Miami in 2022. When you further create friction with job creators, investors, and business owners, they do not magically pay more. They move. Florida is open for business.
