It would absolutely not be fair if this was a penalty since it isn’t very clear what generally should start the play, the kick or placing the hand?

🚨 JUST IN: Atlético Madrid are confused as to why Barça and its players believe the Pubill–Musso incident was a penalty and a red card.
What happened yesterday was a pre-planned tactic. The team had practiced throughout the week having the centre-back take goal kicks in certain situations.
It was a strategy to avoid Barça’s high press, which involved the centre-back passing the ball to a wide-positioned Musso, giving him more options to play out from the back.
This approach was evident from the start of the match, especially in the first half.
At Atlético, they also argue that a similar situation occurred in an Arsenal–Bayern match, and the referee made the same decision as in the Barça game: to let play continue and not award a penalty or even a yellow card.

@Nysconen Spillet er åbenlyst ikke sat mere i gang, end at der står en spiller klar til at tage målsparket i modsatte side og at Atleti fuldkommen åbenlyst vil tage det derovre. Selvfølgelig skal der udfra almindelig sund fornuft dømmes straffe 0 ud af 366 dage på et år.

Som Real Madrid-sympatisør har det været tåkrummende og uværdigt at følge klubbens ynkelige forfølgelsesvanvid og groteske mindreværd.
Barca tager endelig lidt af rampelyset med denne totale tirade af ynk og klynk over en latterlig teknikalitet, som aldrig skal give straffe

@FodboldGuden @Fodboldhjernen Men det er der i situationen ikke tvivl om. Målmanden sætter den i gang med foden og ikke hånden- og her har vi jo VAR til at gå ind og checke. Heller ikke det skete.
Der er ingen undskyldninger eller forklaringer med mindre alle regler skal synes fortolkes.
