We were honored to host @StepAfrikaHQ The world’s leading authority on stepping & one of the top 10 African American dance companies in the U.S. Students & staff were engaged & energized by this powerful performance. Experiences like this bring culture, history, and art to life!

Learning to be smart, safe, and kind online! Our PTSA hosted the Be Internet Awesome event sponsored by Google, bringing families together & featuring community partners. A great fun and informative evening at Kettering!

Our KMSSI Debate Team truly demonstrated what it means to be “Rooted & Grounded in Results” at today’s National Qualifier Debate. Competing in the top divisions, our scholars brought home 18 awards, showcasing their hard work, preparation, and excellence. Thank you, Dr. Dinkins.

Wow! Our Spanish Immersion Open House was absolutely incredible today — we had a packed house! We are thrilled to welcome our future families to KMSSI, and this was the largest turnout we’ve ever had. The energy was high, the excitement was real, and they even learned the chant!

Today was Read Across America Day and we were extremely proud of our very own Student Author, Jaxson Tate. We hosted a school-wide assembly and Jaxson maximized his platform. Our mission is to highlight the unique talents of all of our students.

Huge Shout out to our KMSSI Debate Team! They placed in all divisions with top spot for MS-Varsity and for the for Individual Speaker. Thank you Dr. Dinkins for your leadership and coaching.

Historic day at KMSSI! As a national winner of the Crayola Celebrate Creative Freedom Contest, our students unveiled a museum-quality replica of the Declaration of Independence and two additional artworks. One of only six schools selected nationwide.
