Lady Olivia Ardilaun at the time of her marriage in 1871, and how she is portrayed in #HouseofGuinness. Daughter to the 3rd Earl of Bantry, she was married in Cork in the tradition of the bride to be married 'from home', not in Iveagh House as depicted in the show 1/2

The mile long avenue was equally as important to Arthur Edward who accumulated more and more land surrounding St. Anne's to ensure his avenue was the correct length 2/2

#HouseOfGuinness left out an important detail to fans of 'the mile-er' at St Annes. An essential part of many park goers exercise is to touch the grass in front of the excavation to prove they have walked the whole avenue! 1/2

Ever wondered what people did for a living in Killester in 1924 as the Irish Sailor's & Soldier's Trust took over their tenancies from the Council? We'd love to know who some of these were. 2 car owners in 1924? A watchmaker? 9 tailors? The best dressed & punctual people ever!!!
