trump is lying hard now. If @WhiteHouse had evidence of a long gash (that magically went from 250 feet to 350 feet depending on the day trump talks about it), then trump would be parading those pictures around. Reporters on scene couldn’t find any gash. Because trump is lying.

Trump is failing so hard right now, trying to sell his "vandals" lie about the Reflecting Pool in the Oval Office. He confidently claimed vandals "very violently" cut a slit in the bottom of the Reflecting Pool, and now says the slit no one can find is "350 feet long." The same journalist pointed out that no one has been able to find evidence of any such vandalism — and Trump asserted these apparently invisible "vandals" supposedly "did something to create the algae." He really thinks Americans are this stupid.

I guarantee that @JudgeJeanine will not charge anyone for dumping chemicals into the reflecting pool. Because if they had any evidence they would be parading it around 24/7. The reality is trump screwed up the reflecting pool by overpaying on a no bid contract to an amateur.

Step 1: Remove filters in Reflecting Pool because Obama put them in. Step 2: Give your criminal neighbor who runs "Greenwater Services" a $20 million no-bid contract to paint the pool. Step 3: Fill the pool with water from the Potomac River, the phosphates from which cause algae blooms. Step 4: Freshly sealed pool and extreme heat result in a super scum event Step 5: Direct National Park Service to dump hydrogen peroxide into the pool which causes the paint to peel. Step 5: Deploy US National Guard to stop people from taking photos of the swamp as a perfect metaphor for the administration. Step 6: Blame someone else.

@TerryMoran Wouldn’t be surprised we absolutely will never see any concrete evidence. It’s the same as the 2020 election cases. They never had evidence and never will. Also not gonna be surprised that what’s happening with the pool is just a result of a rushed job and too much H ₂ 0 ₂.

Vandalism is a crime. Punish it under law. The Reflecting Pool contains 6.5 million gallons of water. Americans have a right to see the legal—and scientific—evidence that vandals caused the algae and peeling paint. Produce the evidence. Show us the science. But they won't.

Nobody "peeled" anything. An industrial coating has to fully cure before it goes back underwater, and this one was rushed into a flooded pool to hit a deadline. Submerge a film before it bonds to the substrate and water works underneath until it delaminates and lifts on its own. That isn't sabotage, it's chemistry. They're now detaining people for touching material the job already failed to hold. Science.
