This scene gets misinterpreted so much. People think that Peter’s looking at Gwen and Miles like that bc he’s “been shipping them since day one” or something when he’s literally just finding it funny that Miles is lying about breaking the goober??

literally rewatched itsv and was shocked at how much gwen was written for the male gaze exclusively, there is little romance to their interactions (from her to him) and then suddenly it’s more obvious in the sequel? that’s not a slow burn, it’s poorly handling female characters
