@Lisa3a7 Yeah, like they listen to the (uneducated) media & opinions, instead of watching. Now if knowledgeable guys said "oh he sucks and will never get better" that's different, but he made some great plays at 3B in AFL, and the unaffiliated announcers even said it. But it gets ignored.

I still don't understand the Max Anderson dislike some of this fanbase has. I really don't see this huge defensive advantage H-YL has, and I love H-YL too. Max was really solid in AFL. If H-YL hadn't needed Rule 5 protection things might have been different. Maybe. Maybe not.

The Tigers have acquired old friend/infielder Zack Short from the Washington Nationals for cash considerations. Short has been assigned to Triple-A Toledo. Short is not on the 40-man roster.

I had another kid who COMPLETELY lacked self-esteem tell me, "I think I did a really good job and sound good!" Also had 1 who really doesn't "fit" anywhere, so I made him a mentor to 6th grade. He said, "THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN!" after the concert. That's why I do what I do.✌️

Random school post: I had to shift my thinking to not expect my kids to be perfect, and look for them to grow. I had a kid who really struggled both years tell me he knows it, but he feels he accomplished a lot of growth in "social skills." Boom, my dissertation topic verified.
