When Dr. John Fleming speaks, the truth is told. In their pathetic attempts to undermine/ discredit him, the crooked minions of the Natural Resources and Environmental Committee only discredited themselves. Their votes against the citizens of Louisiana have been entered into the permanent record and will stand in perpetuity as evidence that they care more about a toxic scam than they do about you.

Today, Louisiana State Treasurer John Fleming, M.D., appeared before the House Resources and Environment Committee to advocate for HB 7, the “Louisiana Landowners Protection Act,” introduced by State Representative Mike Johnson (R-Pineville). The legislation aims to protect private property rights statewide by preventing private companies from using expropriation—better known as eminent domain—for carbon dioxide pipeline and storage projects. During his testimony, and amid repeated interruptions from pro-carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) legislators, Dr. Fleming urged lawmakers not to turn Louisiana into a “toxic dumping ground in order to satisfy some requirements in Europe about CO₂ emissions.” Dr. Fleming also emphasized that President Trump is “moving away from subsidizing the so-called Green New Deal type of technologies,” noting that there has been no support expressed for CCS and highlighting opposition expressed from Interior Secretary Doug Burgum. In response to claims from several pro-CCS legislators, Treasurer Fleming addressed what he called “misinformation,” making it clear that he never supported the implementation or funding of CCS during his time in Congress (2009–2017). Unfortunately, despite strong grassroots turnout—with hundreds of Louisiana residents present in support—the committee voted down the bill in a 12–7 decision.

Put simply, there is now IRREFUTABLE AND INDISPUTABLE PROOF that President Trump WON the state of Arizona in that STOLEN election out of the mouths of the very people who counted the votes. Accurate voter rolls are critical to election integrity. That’s why Louisiana became the first state to use the newly revamped SAVE database in May. Preliminary results of an ongoing investigation into noncitizens on our state’s voter registration list show that 390 noncitizens were registered in Louisiana. Of those, 79 voted in at least one election. Thanks to @realDonaldTrump, our state was able to make use of this free, easy-to-use data to help us further clean our voter rolls. I will keep using every tool at my disposal to ensure our voter rolls are accurate and that our elections remain safe and secure.
