@stoolpresidente Bitcoin is the hardest asset on the planet and we print money to keep a debt fueled Ponzi going. That’s why. Holding the hardest money always wins. Nothing with the Bitcoin thesis has changed. If the price effects how you feel about it you don’t understand what you own.

I need all the #bitcoin and #crypto people who say it’s going to a million and how it’s the future to tell me why all the people who have always said it’s a scam and going to zero are wrong. Cause it seems like it’s going to zero

@jackmallers @simpleminingio Jack I am curious if you think there is a possibility that AI doesn’t take as many jobs as we are thinking, but improves efficiency of companies drastically and we get better at making everything. Could that be a middle road that happens on a shorter time frame?

Mallers laid out the AI math the market keeps avoiding. If AI takes the jobs, the credit built on those paychecks goes bad. If AI doesn't, the trillions poured into it never earn their keep. Both roads end at the same printer.
TFTC@TFTC21

"You've told me two things. They contradict each other. One's not true." @jackmallers on the impossible math of AI valuations. Either AI takes the jobs and the entire credit system collapses, or AI is overhyped and GDP craters. Either way, they print.

A personal note.  After years of public discussion/work: the podcast, social media, venture capital, everything — I'm stepping back to focus on my family. My kids are growing fast.  My wife deserves the best of me.  To everyone who listened, read, grew, and built alongside me — thank you. What a blessing you all have been!

@jonstewart Big fan of your work Jon, for like 20 years. But you could find better guests on this topic. More nuanced.

@jonstewart Jon you should have Jeff booth on your show. He would give you a good second view on this topic. It would be a great conversation.

@richierandall It doesn’t matter who starts it to be honest. Each person gets punished for their actions. You could argue Duren shouldn’t have gotten any games and just been ejected. If he shoves Moussa in the face like he did and nothing else happens he gets ejected with no suspension.

Charlotte is going to claim Duren and the Pistons crossed the line first. Detroit is going to claim Moussa and the Hornets crossed the line first. I haven’t scoured the internet, but it seems the general consensus among neutrals is that Jalen Duren ignited it all. Right?

@AshNicoleMoss Cuz he didn’t escalate the situation. If the situation would have calmed right after Duren didn’t that then Duren would have been ejected and Moussa prolly would have gotten a Technical. But it continued and Duren didn’t do much else. You could argue Duren shouldn’t get any games

how’d Moussa Diabate get 4 games and Jalen Duren get 2 games when Duren mushed him in the face and started the situation in the first place? lol

@HornetsLead My guess would be that it’s because Duren didn’t go after anyone after the initial altercation. He didn’t escalate after. If the initial interaction happened and nothing else then they both would have been ejected and no suspensions at all.

I don’t want this to sound arrogant but if you are fearful when the price of bitcoin falls you may need to dive deeper down the rabbit hole. Unless something has changed to disrupt it being decentralized or secure it should be great news to you when the USD price drops

@ZeeContrarian1 The thesis is we live in an inflationary economy reliant on debt, but the free market is inherently deflationary so it is not sustainable. Bitcoin is the best version of money we have and it has the least % chance of dying, due to its properties, compared to everything else.

@ZeeContrarian1 It fixes money. If you are a person that doesn’t need to be told something is good to trust it, and you can do your own research to understand it fully then you should just start trying to understand what Bitcoin is. It won’t make sense until you do that work.

If you’re buying Bitcoin now, I’m genuinely curious about the thesis. Is it the future of money? That’s what I heard five years ago, and I still can’t buy much with it. Is it a hedge against inflation? The data suggests otherwise. Is it a counter to dollar devaluation? That hasn’t held up. Is it a hedge against global turmoil? We’ve seen that fail as well. By simple deduction, there’s no clear reason to buy Bitcoin other than to speculate on price. If you have a different thesis, I’d be happy to hear it.
