Scott Sheffield operated many of those years at Pioneer without laying people off when he likely should have. My stepdad and uncle both worked there 20-30 years and it was always a known thing that pioneer didn't lay off people. That was a direct result of Sheffield caring about his people.

The Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association (@T_I_P_R_O) recently celebrated its 80th anniversary at its Annual Convention in Houston. Governor @GregAbbott_TX presented a proclamation honoring TIPRO’s 80th anniversary and recognizing the hardworking men and women who help make Texas the “number one state.” Senator @tedcruz was also honored with TIPRO’s Hats Off Award for his leadership and efforts to advance policies that help secure our energy future.
