Just a quick update on my travel affiliate experiment. Last month (Feb 2026), I hit a record ~$339. This month, it quietly moved up another level. First time ever crossing $500/month. GetYourGuide: $107.40 Viator: $226.43 Booking․com (via TravelPayouts): $181.51 Total so far: $515.34 (and still a couple of days left in March) New Zealand remains the top performer. France comes next. Also seeing bookings for destinations like Slovenia, Morocco, and Australia. Not huge numbers. But very consistent. I’ve been running this experiment for about 4 years now, and one thing is becoming very clear: If you build on strong geo exact-match .com domains, add useful content, and plug in the right affiliate programs, you don’t need much traffic to make it work. Most of my sites get maybe 1–10 visitors a day. But they convert. I now have around 30 of these sites. Almost all of them at least cover their renewals. Some do a few hundred to over $1,000/year. No SEO tricks. No paid ads. No constant updates. Just build → point domain → wait. Of course, domain quality matters a lot. The interesting part is: this is actually scalable. I still have hundreds of similar geo domains sitting idle. When I started this 4 years ago, there was no AI. I had to hire writers on Upwork, and each article cost real money. Now, content cost is close to zero. The bottleneck is no longer money. It’s time. If I can find enough time to build more of these, this might quietly turn into a few thousand dollars per month business. Let’s see how far I can push this 😄

One of the hardest things to see is my dog as he cannot control his back legs. He is deaf, blind, and loves every minute with us. Walking is his favorite thing in the world. Instead of going away this weekend I am staying with him. He is on borrowed time, so I am going to try to sneak some more time in with him
