Grew up in the system, emancipated at 16. Sold dope, graduated top of my class, went to college, still sold dope. Stop selling dope my senior year, won every academic award they had. Graduated summa cum laude, accepted into 8 grad programs all fully funded. One was an Ivy League school. 2 weeks left in my masters, and my PhD program starts in August. Published articles in academic journals, presented in person, solo at national conferences, wrote 3 books, there are other things. Do you know how hard all that shit was with no support system but yourself? Not a single family member. I got all that done alone. When my head and body hurt so much from pushing myself, i had to suck it up because black men font fold. We take it on the chin and ask, is that all you got. I came from one of the worst situations a kid could ever be put in and made it out. Zero student debt, I've never paid for anything, not even printouts.

Abuse is horrible no matter who its happening to but atleast for girls they’re encouraged by society to speak up, whilst boys are taught to surpress it out of fear of looking weak. @WES_WorldOrder The reason isn’t because they are Black boys by the way. It’s because of the choices they make. By your logic, all Black boys would be in prison and unsuccessful. Stop making excuses for men who made poor decisions and realized late in life when there are less options.

It's like saying that two people running a marathon together with weights on are equally disadvantaged, despite one of them holding more weight.
