I spent 90 minutes on the phone with the CRA — Canada's tax agency — to cancel my dad's pension. But I have to deal with another department to cancel my dad from their system — to avoid penalty. And I have to fill out a 17-page document for my mum to receive a death benefit. Because the CRA can't send one centralized message within its organization. What do they use there? Carrier pigeons? I'm helping my sick, elderly mother. Think about the people who don't have help. Seems like Canada is hoping to penalize vulnerable Canadians — during an intense time of grief and despair. Everyone thank Mark Carney.👏👏👏

I wasn't going to post my Vegas pictures because I was feeling self-conscious. You see, I have a challenge with my self-esteem. I have a tendency to put myself down and judge myself (a lot). I am working on it though. I look at these pictures and I see so many things wrong (my hair, my weight, how I look in my clothes, I have trouble posing the correct way for pictures, etc) but there is a whole lot of right. I am in Vegas, I made it happen. I am celebrating it with my bestie Bonnie and it is Valentines Day. Instead of moping and feeling sorry for myself because I am single, I am celebrating the day in Vegas being shown lots of love by my Forever Loves. No person is perfect, no body is perfect (well, except for @NKOTB) Maybe this was a wake up call I need to get back to the gym and to practice my selfies and poses. So I will post my pictures, judge me if you wish, I can take it. Just need to work on not judging myself and build my self-esteem up. This whole realization came about on my way back from Vegas. Guess my therapy is working. 🙂 @germain_bonnie
