For example, nothing exudes certainty like Trudeau’s cancelling of the F-35 contract Harper’s government negotiated, just because. Then years later, reversing that decision at hugely increased taxpayer costs. Only to have Carney threaten to again cancel the contract in favour of an EU competitor. Yup! the liberal government is renowned for honoring Canada’s commitments and demonstrating that a Canadian signature on an international agreement is ironclad. Liberal hypocrisy is astounding . CNN says Trump will support passing the bipartisan Russia sanctions proposed by Sen. Lindsey Graham. The bill will allow Trump to impose tariffs on countries that buy Russian oil. That’s the tell. The Russians clipped Lindsey. Either by accident or design. Trump knows it. He knows he can’t escalate, so he’s not going to say this publicly. Instead, he’s going to do this sanctioning crap. It’s stupid, especially because the US needs to maximize global oil flows to keep prices relatively low while the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. And as Trump escalates in the Mideast, the energy remains shut down, and cutting off more potential energy flows via sanctions on Russia only creates bigger problems economically. For what? Lindsey Graham was a proxy combatant in an undeclared foreign war. He was advocating direct attacks on Russia. Of course he'd become a target. This whole thing is lunacy.

Trump just outnegiotiated Carney on the new deal to open the new Gordie Howe Bridge. How much did Canadians lose in revenue? The Liberal brass knew it was bad and Carney would get negative press. The Liberals pulled their usual stunt - change the topic. They sent Carney to the Calgagary Stampede to flipcakes hoping for a good photo op. Didn't work. Canadians are slowly waking up to the con job Carney is trying to put over on Canada.

I was born in Canada but lived in England most of my life. I took a job in Toronto in 2018 eager to reconnect with my Canadian side. Thing is, I still don't feel attached to Canadian culture. I'm not even sure what that even is. The question is, if I, as an anglo Westerner, hasn't managed to find cultural connection in 8 years, what chance do non Western immigrants have? Canada... I genuinely want to see you thrive. Surely first you need to know who you are.

Realistically, Graham was 71 and ingested more PrEP pills than the entire West Village. It's not at all surprising if he died suddenly.
