BREAKING: Columbia University expels Grant Miner, president of the Student Workers of Columbia (SWC), a union for instructors, teaching assistants, and researchers at the university. SWC says that Miner has been “expelled without evidence for participation in Palestine solidarity activism, which was in response to Columbia’s financial investment in US-backed Israeli genocide.” Further the group says, “This expulsion was announced less than 24 hours before our first bargaining session with the university and within days of disciplinary hearings concluding.” H/t @MeghnadBose93
