Re-enter a tiny $CHIP long > funding: -0.15%/8h on Binance, -0.024%/hr on Hyperliquid. shorts bleeding 0.4-0.6%/day depending on venue > OI: $108M against ~$154M circulating mcap. that's a 70% OI/MCap ratio, perp speculation is almost equal to the entire float > OI swinging $92M-$127M in 48h while L/S ratio stays flat at 1.11-1.13. flat L/S + volatile OI = hedged/MM activity, not real directional flow > no token unlock until April 2027 (12-month cliff). shorts are paying 0.4%/day for a thesis with no near-term catalyst > checked on-chain: top holders distributed from the Gnosis Safe to new wallets but zero large CEX deposits. Binance > hot wallet only +21M CHIP in 4 days. nobody's dumping spot > holder count down 58% in 7 days but stabilizing in the last 24h (+36) > the @USDai_Official fundamental bear case is right, $770M FDV on <$1M revenue, governance-only token, 85% top-10 concentration. but > -0.15% funding on a token with no unlock is unsustainable. shorts got greedy. Mean reversion trade, not a position. in and out. TLDR long & hope for some level of crime

closed my small long here. fun trade, squeeze worked what changed in 24h: price: $0.08 → $0.122 (+52%) FDV: $800M → $1.21B OI: $27M → $175M (+6.5x) OI/MCap: 71.5% -- extreme leverage futures vol: $5.34B (22x the market cap) 24h liquidations: $15.8M → funding was -1.39% on Binance when I entered, now -0.24%. Bybit and Hyperliquid already flipped positive longs paying on those venues. squeeze played out there, Binance is the last holdout. → retail L/S still at 0.887 (net short) but top traders are flat at 0.976 → smart money isn't committed either direction. → There is $34M whale short on Hyperliquid at 3x leverage. 0x5c26dfc723e7a1da7b6c3bd5cbd72716d09425c2 liq price $0.178 (47% above current). if price gets there that's another leg up. but chasing a single liquidation with normalizing funding + 71% OI/MCap + 99% concentration risk isn't a trade I want to hold. (unless someone wallet gimme some additional info keke) not flipping short either. just not a good r/r in either direction here.
