@wisematheu @EnriTarta @yo @browsercompany That's good to hear, I'll give it a shot.
I'm in mac, so I was a little worried about using a browser that's in beta, but it sounds promising.
When you say occasionally buggy, how so?
I'd heard some whispers about its performance being in the slower side, but I'm not sure.

@MWeeksDev @EnriTarta @yo @browsercompany Aside from occasionally being buggy and the lack of basic AI features, Zen is perfect for my needs and I can’t think of any other features Arc/Dia offers that outweigh the joy from using Zen

@wisematheu @EnriTarta @yo @browsercompany Tbh I think Firefox dev tools have improved SIGNIFICANTLY since 2010. I think they might even have features missing in chrome, like the css grid explorer tools they added in 2018.
It might just be familiarity for me, but I'd probably get used to it.
English

@MWeeksDev @EnriTarta @yo @browsercompany For dev tools, I personally haven’t noticed any features that are missing from Firefox although to be fair I wouldn’t say I’m a dev tools power user so this could be why
English

@wisematheu @EnriTarta @yo @browsercompany Did you migrate from Arc/Chrome to Zen?
I think the greatest difficulty in migrating to Zen (aside from it being in early beta) is the shift to a Firefox-based browser.
Ironically, I loved Firefox until switching to Chrome in the 2010s for its devtools and extensions ecosystem.
English

@EnriTarta @yo @browsercompany Yup, still using Arc. It's a better version of Chrome. Kind of glad they stopped working on it, tbh, because most of what they were planning to add wouldn't improve the experience. Prioritizing AI-generated page summaries over improving profile and space management, for example.
English

Love this idea. I just hope it doesn't get abused. But less generic articles written by AI would make for much better information searching.

@dickiebush @Nicolascole77 do you find people getting a lot of engagement on content posted to Twitter and LinkedIn from Typeshare?
What do you think is the best practice for sharing longer articles. I know the default is an image but I haven't seen other posting like that much.

Here's a link to it on Medium, in case anyone wants to read it on a proper blog platform. (friend link so it should be accessible).

Hey @mattpocockuk it's been a while since I did your Total Typescript course, but there was a plugin you used for inspecting types that I really loved, and I can't seem to recall it or find it.
You'd type // ^? and it would print out the type of an object or the value of a type

@nateliason Robin Hobbs' books. Assassin's Apprentice is not directly dragon related, but the followup series involve dragons in various interesting ways.

This is a nice read about how one engineer fell in love with managing state as a finite state tree. It's interesting how old patterns reemerge in new frameworks, and seeing folks learn them for the first time.

The more I use it, the more I love @browsercompany arc. The ability to have all my tabs for a project together I can leave it for weeks come back and know exactly where I was.
Today, I found out about the Pull Requests smart folder right as I was about to start a folder for PRs!

@corydhmiller Best way to do it. Wait until you have a specific show you want to watch on whatever streaming platform, pay for a month, treat it like a movie rental, and then enjoy other content for a month. I refuse to have multiple streaming subscriptions at a time. 2024 is brutal.

@GrahamTheDev @martymadrid Sorry, this isn't my story to tell and I feel a little awkward for talking about someone else's experience. It was good though.
English

@martymadrid Here is one that had a happy ending (not that kind...) 🤷🏼♂️💗
