Welcome to June, six months into the year and another opportunity to keep building, learning and growing.
The journey of innovation is not defined by how fast we move, but by how consistently we show up.
As we step into a new month, let's continue exploring possibilities, sharing knowledge and creating opportunities that drive Web3 adoption across Africa.
Happy New Month 🎉

One of the biggest reasons people stay broke in Nigeria?
They announce every plan like it’s a movie premiere.
“Guys, I’m about to start forex.”
“New YouTube channel loading.”
“Big business coming soon.”
“Watch this space.”
My brother… na the “watch this space” you don watch for 3 years now.
A lot of people don’t actually want progress.
They want the FEELING of progress.
There’s a difference.
Telling people your plans gives instant dopamine.
Likes. Praise. Motivation. Validation.
Your brain already feels rewarded…
before the work even starts.
That’s why many dreams die in the group chat.
You know the Nigerian version? 😂
Person never save ₦50k…
but has already told 17 people they’re opening a lounge, crypto academy, logistics company, and fashion brand simultaneously.
Even Canva flyer don dey.
Only thing missing?
Actual work.
I know somebody that posted:
“2026 is the year I disappear and build in silence.”
The next morning, he was on Instagram Live explaining the disappearance strategy. 😭😭😭
Some of us don’t need more announcements.
We need discipline.
Quiet people are dangerous.
Not because they’re smarter.
But because while everybody is talking…
they’re learning skills, building systems, saving money, investing consistently, failing privately, and improving quietly.
Then one day success looks “sudden.”
It wasn’t sudden.
You were just too busy tweeting motivation to notice.
This is why many Nigerians stay trapped in “almost.”
Almost launching.
Almost investing.
Almost disciplined.
Almost rich.
Too much talking.
Too little execution.
Dreams cannot survive on vibes and motivational captions alone.
And this is not about hiding your goals because of “village people.”
Relax.
Every unfinished business idea is not spiritual warfare.
Sometimes the problem is simply:
you enjoyed the applause more than the process.
Want a better strategy?
Move quietly for 6 months.
Read.
Learn.
Save money consistently.
Build your portfolio.
Develop skills.
Invest small amounts regularly.
Fail privately.
Improve silently.
Let RESULTS do PR for you.
One of the richest habits you can build is delayed validation.
Stop needing everybody to clap for every step.
The same people hyping your “grind” today may disappear tomorrow.
But disciplined work compounds.
Skills compound.
Investments compound.
Consistency compounds.
That’s how ordinary Nigerians quietly change their lives.
Sometimes the best move is to disappear from noise and reappear with evidence.
Not pressure.
Not packaging.
Not fake lifestyle.
Evidence.
What’s one goal you’ve decided to work on quietly this year?
Aaron@IAmAaronWill
Mental masturbation. When you tell other people your plans so you get approval and validation. But only do so to get dopamine. That then makes you less likely to do the task because you’ve already gotten rewarded from it. Better to stay quiet, do the task, then get dopamine.

🎙️ "It is so much fun. There's so much to build"
I bet there's more than a few of you out there who feel the same when it comes to building with AI these days.
