@jonesxxx @antisemitism I believe you have got this totally wrong. Silence always only helps the aggressor. I don’t understand your point about you being a UK resident, I think everyone at that demo is a UK resident. Do their views not count?

@antisemitism The original article was just that ludicrous. As is your protest. A massive over reaction. As a UK resident I've had enough of all of you trying to stir up hate and division. You are both as bad as each other.

We have joined the protest right now outside The Guardian's offices in London following the newspaper’s recent ludicrous and dreadful column portraying Gail’s as some sort of Jewish supremacist aggressor crushing independent Arab business in Archway. This was just the latest in @guardian’s persistent hostile output that has the effect of encouraging animosity towards Jews. Our polling of the Jewish community shows that, among newspapers, The Guardian scores the worst, with nearly seven in ten – 69% – of British Jews describing its coverage of matters of Jewish interest as unfavourable. Sadly, this newspaper has travelled so far that it may well now regard this as a badge of honour.

The Home Affairs Committee’s report on the Maccabi Tel Aviv fan ban has been released. We welcome this report, and especially the Committee’s interventions in bringing senior officers before them to testify. Had the Committee not done so, Craig Guildford might still be Chief Constable. We have met the Acting Chief Constable and he understands the scale of the mistrust that this scandal leaves behind. However, despite its positive work in its oral hearings, the Committee’s report pulls its punches, noting disturbing patterns of behaviour by senior officers but never joining the dots. It is a missed opportunity to address the impact of growing sectarianism on the life of this country. We are disappointed by the report in two key respects. Firstly, the report fails to address the elephant in the room. The decision to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv fans was not a series of administrative blunders; it was a police force buckling to the demands of local Islamist extremists who threatened lawless riot and violence if Israeli Jews were permitted to visit their city. There is not a single reference to Islamist radicals in the report, even though it was clearly at their behest that officers at the highest levels of the force fitted up the Israeli fans as the most dangerous in international football, fabricating evidence and framing them to justify the outcome demanded by an extremist mob. It was intentional appeasement in response to extremist incitement, and senior police lied to parliament to cover it up. Some of the senior officers responsible are still in their posts, and that needs to change. Secondly, the report deals very lightly with those who were there to oversee the police and hold them accountable, in particular the Police and Crime Commissioner, Simon Foster, who failed to hold the Chief Constable to account and then permitted him to retire on a handsome pension. Looking at the Committee’s overall assessment, it is clear that the Police and Crime Commissioner failed in his duties and must now consider his position. At a time when the Jewish community’s trust in police is already at a record low, this debacle has plumbed new depths. Today’s report shows how urgently police forces must be cleansed of appeasers in senior positions who undermine the work of brave frontline officers by appeasing Islamist extremists. Britain was once known for its firm but fair rule of law, and the Home Secretary must now lead the charge in hastening the return of those days.

BREAKING: Hamas has released an updated casualty list, and it completely vindicates Israel. The majority of casualties were military-aged men. If Israel were indiscriminately bombing Gaza, we'd see equal distribution. Another one of Gaza's viral lies, debunked.

The justification for banning Israelis from Villa Park has been blown apart. Here's my take on the select committee, which raised more questions of West Midlands Police than it answered. We'll keep going until we get the truth. We must never surrender to the Islamists.

Let's make him famous. Who is he? This is a clear and unambiguous call for the murder of Israelis and supporters of Israel. That's not free speech, that's a crime. Are you paying attention @metpoliceuk ?

“A chant that we’ve been workshopping in Oxford”: “Gaza, Gaza, make us proud, Put the Zios in the ground.” Bridget Phillipson has a great candidate here from yesterday’s London hate march to lead her campus antisemitism training. Britain’s elite education.

I have so many questions for Greta Thunberg after she shared the photo of Evytar David, thinking he was a Palestinian held in Israel. Is the image of that starving man being forced to dig his own grave suddenly okay, Greta? Because it turns out he's the 'wrong' ethnicity? Did you see his suffering and feel for him, only to learn about your mistake and go "Oh well that's fine then"? When you thought he was Palestinian, did Evyatar's pain finally matter to you, Greta? Or was it always just a game to you?

HUGE BREAKING NEWS! The IRON BEAM is finally here! Israel’s Iron Beam laser defense system is now fully operational. It has already intercepted rockets, mortars, and drones. Defense Minister Israel Katz hailed the achievement as a “historic milestone,” noting Israel is now the first country with an operational laser interceptor. Unbelievable. 🔥💪🇮🇱🙏🔯💥

BREAKING: After Israeli airline El Al’s offices were vandalized in PARIS 🇫🇷, the company decided its employees will no longer work in the city. A different company will staff El Al terminals in Paris, so employees won’t be at risk. Most people would care if their city became hostile to a certain group. Yet when it’s Israelis being made to leave, too many people are silent. That needs to change.

@LordIanAustin Thankyou for standing on the right side of history. It’s shocking how so many of the world is not only silent about the hostages still held by Hamas, a proscribed terrorist group, but they legitimise it.

Shocking stuff. When I said “free the hostages” or “free Gaza from Hamas” they screamed “shame on you”. I was grabbed, pushed and jostled. Water poured over me. Just for saying the hostages should be freed. Many of them are racists who support terrorism. That’s the truth.
habibi@habibi_uk

This is the hatred movement. Yesterday, Lord Austin said "Free Gaza from Hamas" and "Free the hostages". The response? "Shame on you!" Heartwarming for all the MPs who joined the protest, surely. Doesn't everyone love Hamas and think it should keep the hostages? Anyway, after...

@mishtal Sadly I am not shocked. I wish I had been wrong but I have been telling Jews around the world that they need to come to Israel, that the world will get worse and worse for Jews., for a decade now.

I am shocked. I was not shocked by the barbarity of the Oct 7 atrocities. I know exactly what radical Islamic terrorism is all about. I lost good friends to suicide bombers. While watching them livestream their atrocities may have been horrific - the barbarity itself did not surprise me. I was not shocked by the crowds waving Palestinian flags on the streets. I have watched anti-Israel activism spread in the west for decades. The Islamists even have got church groups in the west waving the Palestinian flag - while their Islamic terrorist brothers in Africa and Asia are all busy butchering Christians. I am not shocked by the line of human rights NGOs repeating pro-Hamas propaganda. Since 2001 we have watched terrorist supporters (mostly through PFLP affiliates) infiltrate and corrupt western NGO society from within. Today most western NGOs have no moral compass left at all. Nor was I shocked by the ICC / ICJ nonsense. This is a follow on from the NGO takeover. The entire international apparatus - the UN - UNHRC etc can be no more than the sum of its despotic parts. Nations such as China and Qatar are actually sitting on the UN Human Rights council. Anyone in the west who takes any of it seriously needs their head examined. Nor am I shocked that most media outlets have turned themselves into Hamas puppets. Standards began dropping long ago - and today most are just seeking clicks. Many journos are lazy egotisitcal supremacists with a greatly inflated opinion of their own intelligence. Add to this that the Qatari mouthpiece Al Jazeera is considered a legitimiate recruitment pool - and the result is a media in decay that can no longer differentiate between a democracy and a terrorist group. But while all of the above is true - I am still shocked by the speed in which antisemitism has spread through society. To the point that we see anti-Jewish riots in the west - and Jews do not feel safe on our streets. I knew the hate was bubbling away. I am one of those who have been calling it out for years - but I honestly never thought things would get this bad - this fast. That is what has shocked me.

Seeing my story come to life in text has been an emotional journey. I never intended to write or speak out, but as a survivor of the October 7 massacre at the Nova Festival, I can no longer remain silent. Witnessing pro-Palestinian demonstrations, I feel compelled to share my truth and highlight what they are supporting. washingtonexaminer.com/restoring-amer…
