@Joe__Bassey Kirk may well have accepted it. He was on the path of enlightenment about the blight of black people and the far right hence the need for his assassination.

After Charlie Kirk pushed not trusting Black pilots, imagine how he would've felt seeing a Black man pilot Artemis II into a perfect re-entry and splashdown..

@DamienWKing @joncooperworks Don’t Norway have politicians running their country also. Why did they put money into their sovereign wealth fund instead of “wasting” it all like the UK? The issue is the amount of wealth created. Jamaica has a small population and will earn enough to splash some and save some.

@joncooperworks They can but they won't. Money put into sovereign wealth funds benefits future generations. Politicians need to get re-elected in the next 5 years. That's calls for splashing it around not putting it away.

@EylonALevy Civilised countries would not kill 100 innocent people in order to kill a terrorist. Israel is trying to act civilised when in fact they have been barbaric for years.

It speaks volumes about Israel’s extraordinary steps to mitigate civilian harm that everyone now expects Israel to telegraph its punches in advance. War doesn’t work like that. International law speaks of “feasible” precautions, and sometimes precautions are not feasible if military necessity requires the element of surprise. You are still required to adhere to proportionality, distinction, and necessity, but there is no rule that you have to tip-off the enemy ahead of every strike. And still, decades of Israeli practice of “roof-knocking,” of advance warnings, of dropping millions of leaflets and even personally phoning inhabitants of buildings with military infrastructure that they have to flee have accustomed people to think that Israel must always tell enemy forces when it’s coming. So I take this criticism—“there was no warning”—as a tribute to Israeli adherence to humanitarian principles in law, because we stretched precautions so far what would normally be seen as “feasible” we created a whole new unrealistic standard in warfare.

'Would you like to be warned before they bombed your city?' 'No... Why would I?' Caller Steve butts heads with @ShelaghFogarty over Israel's strikes in Lebanon.

@EylonALevy They were allowed with armed gunmen on Oct the 7th also when the attack by Hamas was permitted. You need to wake up to what your government is doing.

@EylonALevy The truth is that Israel is bombing Lebanon out of frustration because they cannot take out Hezbollah not because of Hezbollah. Hezbollah will continue to send the child killers home in body bags regardless.

Absolute masterclass. Prominent Ambassador Husam Zomlot completely destroys the Zionist propaganda that Palestinians are antisemitic. He drops a massive reality check, reminding the world that Palestinians are the original Semites resisting a brutal, colonizing oppressor.

@MerrynSW The door to door journey includes getting to and from the train station. Cutting 30 minutes from a total journey time of 3 hours will not make much of a difference to the quality of life of those who use the trains. Providing a better experience would give better value for money.

@EylonALevy @rgoodlaw @ICRC People need to wake up and realise the Israelis will murder as many people as possible until their dream of greater Israel and world domination is achieved.

Difficult to describe how unusual it is for the @ICRC to speak publicly like this. "Heavy explosive weapons with wide-area effects struck densely populated urban areas, including the capital Beirut, without effective advance warnings." icrc.org/en/news-releas…

@EylonALevy Iran needs to move beyond to rebuild their country after this unkustified war against them. This is a rare exception where two wrongs can make a right!!

Let's hope this is still the American position:
Arnaud Bertrand@RnaudBertrand

Rubio admits that the war will end with Iran still in control of Hormuz and that they may decide to charge a toll, something other countries need to deal with: x.com/FurkanGozukara… "When this conflict, when this operation ends, if the Iranians decide 'well now we control the Strait of Hormuz and you can only go through here if you pay us and if we allow you to', not only is it illegal under international law and maritime law, it's unacceptable and that can't be allowed to exist. And so what we said is that the countries most impacted by that should be willing to do something about it, and we'll help them." This would mean, of course, that the war would have reinforced Iran's strategic position which, almost by definition, means the U.S. lost.

@EylonALevy It is clear that Israeli love war and killing people. They enjoy the smell of death hence why Bibi has spent decades begging for this war. I hope the ceasefire deal with America allows for retaliatory attacks by Iran if the ceasefire is broken.

The fact people think “just surviving” means the Iranian regime won shows just how badly it lost. The Iranian regime did not build its nuclear program, ballistic arsenal, and ring of fire to “just survive.” It wanted to destroy Israel, and now it’s on its hind legs.

If President Trump lets the Iranians charge a toll for ships in the Strait of Hormuz, then every time you fill up your car at the pump, you will put money straight in the pockets of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. This would be a humiliating disaster for the US.
Jonathan Karl@jonkarl

This morning, I asked President Trump if he’s okay with the Iranians charging a toll for all ships that go through the Strait of Hormuz, he told me there may be a Joint US-Iran venture to charge tolls: “We’re thinking of doing it as a joint venture. It’s a way of securing it — also securing it from lots of other people.” “It’s a beautiful thing”

Officially, Israel says it supports President Trump's efforts to reach a deal that addresses the Iranian Triple Threat of nuclear, missiles, and terror. But there's no disguising the disappointment that President Trump pulled the plug too early again.
