@MadelaineLucyH Does killing a viable human in utero improve the odds of the mother if she is at risk? Or could the baby be delivered/c-sectioned at that point with the same improved outcome for the mother? I don’t see how the death of humans in utero is necessary once viable.

(Obviously, late stage abortions ONLY occur in situations where the fetus is not viable or the mother is at serious risk of fatality and injury.) I find these posts very revealing of the ignorance of the anti-abortion lobby. No woman feels 'empowered' by having to have an abortion after 9 months of carrying her child. It's not something anyone does because they didn't get round to ending a pregnancy for nearly a year. The biggest category for late stage abortions? When the fetus has died and is septic, or the mother is a child and unable to safely give birth or undergo caesarean. This is a far right fantasy of the 'monstrous corrupt woman'.
Lila Rose@LilaGraceRose

This is what late-term abortion looks like. A fully developed child is stabbed in the heart and poisoned to death. It’s not “healthcare” It’s not “empowering” It’s murder.

If it was just 1%…why does every woman you’ve ever met have the same story? Why haven’t you done something about this terrible, one in a hundred man?

@soupybabee @bosdovja92 Of course. I’m glad to hear we agree on more regulations to it. We absolutely disagree that the belief that someone may remain on welfare is grounds for the government to help someone commit suicide. Partial denial of MAID is a funny concept imo.

@MaybeProbs @bosdovja92 mine wasn't a belief, it was a fact. and although i think more regulations should be put in place, I dont think disabled people should be completely denied of the option if their other option is living on welfare the rest of their life.

@soupybabee @bosdovja92 You are free to believe what you would like. I’ll do the same. This story did incredible damage to the cause. I’m supportive of actual end of life decisions (i.e. someone is terminal and physically suffering with no hope of recovery). Fears of living on welfare? No

@MaybeProbs @bosdovja92 omg i was waiting for one of you idiots to show up heheheheeee. Kiano WAS NOT given assisted suicide because he had "SeASonAl DepResSIoN", he was diabetic and blind, and had fears about his future life living on welfare. Nobody who has seasonal depression is able to apply.

@soupybabee @bosdovja92 “Majority” We are talking about the government helping people kill themselves. Look up Kiano Vafaeian. Seasonal depression isn’t a great reason for suicide imo. You may disagree.

@MadelaineLucyH You can’t really disagree that empathy belongs with victims not criminals inflicting pain can you? What an odd thing to feel compelled to criticize. Did I misread your post?

@miss_reys_mind @AbortionChat Of course of course word games. Kill then instead of murder. 👌🏿 I’m well aware of the importance of dehumanizing humans in utero. Crystal clear both when it is done and the reason the rhetoric is employed. You are running the playbook. Regardless, be well.

There’s something jarring about a doctor giving you bad news in a compassionate way while refusing to mask. There’s an unspeakable grief when the person meant to heal you won’t do a small thing to protect you. If you’re a healthcare worker, please mask up!

I know lockdowns were awful - and there is no risk of one because of meningitis - but it’s really weird that people say they wouldn’t comply under any circumstances. They’re saying they’d rather they and their loved ones caught a disease which has a good chance of killing them. Bizarre.

@miss_reys_mind @AbortionChat Good catch. I probably shouldn’t have done that. I see some light between the two cases though as one is used to cover up for the murder of completely helpless humans in utero and one was to lightly mock those that desire humans in utero to be murdered.

@AbortionChat I also didn’t say they are not. But as I did say they are a humans in utero thus the dehumanization is an issue and it leads in a straight line to where you desire to go which is killing them. Not recognizing them by playing more word games is transparent of course. Meh.
