💥🔍💎 TAG grading review 💎🔎💥 Is A.I. the future of card grading? Yes. Has any company been successful with it yet? No. Currently, TAG leverages A.I. to provide collectors objective grading standards and transparent results — which is great and what I believe all collectors want 💯 But, A.I. has conditions and requirements that are critical for its success. For example, A.I. requires high-quality data, and media, to enrich the A.I. model, identify patterns, make predictions, and perform tasks autonomously. One issue? Most A.I. card grading companies only capture one image of the front and back of the card. Creating discrepancies in grading results due to: lighting, line-of-sight restrictions, and other image capturing limitations. So let's review a 2023 Prizm Bijan Robinson 305 Red & Yellow /8 TAG 10 and determine whether its condition matches its grade. Observations: — Front surface 1: at first glance, there is a chrome misprint and speckle in the team names front-top text area. — Front surface 2: at a 45-degree angle, there are scuffs and scratches to the immediate left of the players upper torso — Back surface 1: at a 45-degree angle, there is a nail indentation on the bottom of the back surface — Upper corner 1: at first glance, the front top-right/back top-left corner is damaged, rounded, whitened, and has debris — Edges 1: at first glance, every front edge is harsh; meaning, there is no smooth run off and each edge is lipped-up Based on these findings, I believe: 1️⃣ it's not a 10 2️⃣ i'd grade it's an 8 or 9 Conclusion, until grading companies can better grasp the nuance of A.I., I do not see challenger(s) in this space as a threat to its incumbents or the (subjective) status quo.
