We faced the best rotation of all time and still should have won the series with a couple of different managerial decisions. I completely believe the offense would have figured it out and we would have steamrolled to a world series if we got past the Dodgers

The #Phillies rotation during the 2025 post season posted a phenomenal 2.08 ERA. They even had a lights out Ranger Suarez out of the pen. They lost the Dodgers series 3-1. Adding Tarik Skubal would be fun, but it doesn’t solve their consistent fundamental problem: Hitting. 🤷🏻♂️

@AllAshworth I think it's less about headlines and more about the illusion that there has not been a deal discussed. I think it's a precedent that might upset the NFLPA if teams were negotiating trades with post-June 1st in mind (even if all parties in this case are happy).

@ByDavidMurphy Agreed. I also understand trying to sue (which is kind of in bad faith given the nature of the deal). But it’s an attempt on his part to see if he could win the lawsuit and save $34M for the cost of a couple hundred K. But he lost.

He has them do an equation on an iphone before the show to come up with a "random" pin then as part of the equation he has them subtract their actual pin. Your calculator on an iphone saves every equation. He just looks at it and knows already.
