@ChuckleHuskies Exactly. This is why we have multiple birds.... I have two other roosters, Q will take his place in line and Elvis will be second to the throne. It's possible that one of these babies that just hatched is a rooster, so we'll hold on to him so he can grow into his place.

It is a sad day at The Mouse House.l Saandy is gone. He fought something and won. He won because I still have all my ladies. Of course this is going to happen on the morning I have to be gone for multiple hours. I left them in the run, but their birds. It's not all enclosed. I think they're a little traumatized though. They will all be extra secure tonight for sure. Off to my hair appointment, I hope nothing happens while I'm gone. Fingers crossed! Rest in peace, legend!
