5th Graders completed a Coding Communication Challenge using the @iRobot Root Robots. They had to use their collaboration and communication skills to create an obstacle course and tell the other half of the team how to code their bot without looking! @AngelaNine @GuilfordEle

First graders in Mrs. Glazier’s and Ms. Rose’s classes created and coded community maps using @Ozobot! @GuilfordEle @csforlcps

The @LEGO_Education Spike Kits got a workout in 1st grade this week! Students have been learning about force and motion, they built and coded swings to demonstrate how objects can go forward and backwards! Loved all the collaboration and excitement! @GuilfordEle @csforlcps

Guilford’s @PropelLevel warmed up by partially solving Rubik’s cubes to create a heart! So much teamwork and encouragement happening! @GuilfordEle

It was a great day to try a new tech tool while reviewing phases of the moon!! @Ozobot

Loving all the CS at @GuilfordEle this month! Kinder made patterns & programmed bluebot to go to the next part, popped into 1st grade where they used the @csforlcps choice boards, 1st also traveled the world with @TerrapinBots, & I saw 2nd using @Ozobot to combine math & phonics

We had an exciting day full of collaboration in math to work on our double digit multiplication skills and coding for #ComputerScienceWeek #collaboration @MsGroover2 @GuilfordEle

Kindergartners in all classes used Ozobots to identify shapes and explain their attributes! @GuilfordEle

Robots took over @GuilfordEle today! @MsSullivan2nd used @iRobotEducation to practice math facts in her small groups, students in library used @Ozobot to make balloon floats with @MrsGs_Library, and Ms. Wenklar and I introduced Root robots to her class! #AwesomeDay #Coding
