I would like to remind police officers that they work for US, and there’s a reason HALF of the bill of rights protects US from YOU. Anybody who displays power-tripping behavior in a position of power that is taxpayer funded, should be IMMEDIATELY fired and prevented from ever serving the people in any capacity ever again, anywhere in the US.

NEWS: The South Florida police association says NFL star Tyreek Hill was not cooperative with their officers. “We would like to stress to the community to use this as an opportunity to remember that it is always best to obey lawful policy commands first and complain later.”

There was plenty, Chuck. I think Hill is the king of all scumbags. But I still don’t think he should have been thrown to the ground and manhandled during this traffic stop. It’s allowed to be both. Try some nuance in life.

@colin_dunlap Have you ever told a police officer “don’t knock on my window like that” repeatedly and interrupting. Then roll it back up, then when they ask you to keep it down, would you ever say “don’t tell me what to do?” I wouldn’t, if I did I would expect this to happen to me.

Fire every one of these over-officious jerks right now. Tyreek Hill has done terrible things in his life - this isn’t one of them. He deserved to be treated much better than this. Anything short of termination is a failure.

COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE More from Springfield, Ohio This town went from having a population of 60k to getting 20k Haitians in just a few years. I’ve been watching this city council meeting on and off throughout the day. This woman says the majority of the people going to get the “free services “ are Haitians. You cannot have open borders and a welfare state. A separate article about this situation from The NY Times also mentioned that wait times at hospitals are going up and school teachers have said this is not sustainable.
