The MBLM report doesn’t measure “awareness.” It measures which brands people feel the strongest emotional connection to… There’s a difference, and Cardano needs to perform well in both. When making important decisions, like budget prioritization, it’s important to rely on current data. Current crypto brand rankings: #1 Solana #2 Polkadot #6 Bitcoin #9 Cardano* Global brand ranking: Cardano ranks 🚩 #461 Marketing efforts compound over time and drive results. Last year, dReps largely neglected marketing, funding mostly events. Events matter, but a strong strategy requires more than that. The Cardano brand needs to be present everywhere as a leader in the blockchain industry. ✅ Leaders show up consistently.

Cardano has already built a strong brand. It is known as a decentralized and secure blockchain, grounded in academic rigor. But brand awareness isn’t the bottleneck anymore. It is usage. The next marketing phase should focus on users, not just reputation. That means building products people actually want to use. We must ensure there’s enough liquidity. RWAs are one path forward, but they shouldn’t be the only focus. Cardano should also push into payments, DeFi, identity, and emerging areas like AI-integrated applications. Marketing shouldn’t just promote the chain. This mission is accomplished. Marketing should highlight the best products being built on top of it. Adoption follows utility. This was the case with the internet and now with AI. People don’t need to know the details of the technology, but they want to use useful services. Users don’t need to know what LLM is, but they want a ChatBot to answer their questions correctly. Polkadot invested tens of millions of dollars in marketing. It has a stronger brand than Ethereum, but users are still on the competing chain because there are battle-tested products and services. Cardano doesn't need to over-invest in marketing until we are sure that users will enthusiastically stay in our ecosystem once they join. We need an entity, perhaps a Marketing DAO, to lay out the strategy.

I think any “maximum” depends on how the funds are distributed and the scope of work expected from each creator. The scope should be impactful. Otherwise, you’re not saving money, you’re just spending less on something that won’t deliver results. There’s no real way to set a cap without understanding what’s being asked. That’s why I mentioned a clearer scope, for example, 12–24 creators delivering at least 4 videos per month, each 1+ minute long. Within that context, your proposed budget seems fair. But whether it drives real impact will ultimately depend on the tactics and execution. As a builder focused on monetization and sustainability for content in Web3/Cardano over the past 4+ years, I think people massively undervalue creators’ work, and it’s tough to watch. But this isn’t new. It’s been the reality for creators for a long time.

Influencers should not dictate the price for creating content. We can offer a small monthly budget, say 50K - 100K ADA. Influencers can decide whether to accept it. The committee will divide this budget between them based on quality and views. Would it work?

I’m really happy, first and foremost, with the quality of the creatives. 🖌️ I’m confident they’ll have a long life and remain relevant, even though we had to distance them from the “official branding”. Everything was carefully put together, and the team delivered on a ridiculously tight and volatile budget. That’s always been my focus, because it’s the one thing you can control. Once you publish, things take on a life of their own. Still, it’s always great when performance validates what you believed was strong creative. Early benchmarks are honestly wild. It’s still early, but the signal is there. I also want to give a special shoutout to @GR_JSAT and @Ale_JSat . They are the engines behind @AdaLink_io. We’ve been through some incredibly difficult circumstances lately, and they just keep showing up and pushing forward. Absolute warriors. I love you both. We’re very lucky to have the people we have around us. I’m genuinely grateful for all of them.
