@Jenn_the_Judge No, it does nothing. Note that there's nothing stopping you from casting the spell even if they're are 40 life. It simply resolves successfully and nothing happens if they're at any life other then exactly 10. This can be important because things like Prowess would still trigger.

@Mora_Vtuber Number 7 is *incredibly* peak, I wish there were more like this. Otherwise 2&4 are both pretty classically good choices.

@PleasantKenobi I honestly don't see how this is a bad thing for news players. This teaches new players how combos work and is an easy to understand asperation in draft. You can Draft a few Priests early and even if you never get the mythic, you have the basis for a solid black deck in draft.

Not pearl clutching, not a huge deal, an observation/opinion: I'm not sure combos like this should exist in limited environments by design, even if part of it is a Mythic. I think the fact that it exists in the new player friendly Foundations set is kinda whack.

@NegativeSilence @ghirapurigears This bothered me too so what I do is run Luxior just to equip to her then -2 to make herself an angel. Doesn't quite line up with the lore but I'll take what I can get. I also run Elspeth Resplendent AND Godsend so yeah, go Elspeth!

@m5mona Probably B or D? Depends on how much you want to lean into the animal look, but lamia style snake people is peak design. D is like gorgon or something snake adjacent but not really snake person.

@coL_Amazonian @wizards_magic Now that half of the releases are going to be UB, I'm certain they're going to stop bothering with Universes Within versions now. They only ever did that with the highest reluctance, and had to be dragged kicking to make them. They never intended to do that in the first place.

It would be very nice if @wizards_magic let us know when (or even if) the mechanically unique cards from Secret Lairs would be printed into widely available sets.

@NegativeSilence @TolarianCollege Yet if they made 10 and 10 were sold within an hour, even if 20 people were asking for it, they can spin it as a "massive success," milk engagement from it and use it to bolster the partnership they have with the 3rd party. I didn't say WotC were smart or weren't shortsighted.

@SaffronOlive It is honestly wild how much money they're leaving on the table here. Limited Run + Print to Demand would be making them at least double the profit, probably much more then that. So why do they dislike getting paid for this?
