The reason there will be no ‘fuel crisis’ in the Netherlands is that every town, city, & village in the land is connected by fully-segregated cycle lanes.
It’s possible for the Dutch to simply stop driving while fuel is short and prices are high.
That’s real energy resilience.

Laten we eerlijk zijn. Wilders wil de asielcrisis helemaal niet oplossen. Hij wil paniek organiseren. Hoe groter de ellende in Ter Apel, hoe groter zijn winst. Wilders leeft niet vóór het volk, maar ván het probleem.

I say it again and again...given the new geopolitical and economic realities, the internal weakness of the EU itself, the future is the United Confederation of Germania with Germany, Netherlands and Austria as nucleus.
112 million people with an economic power of 7.3 trillion USD (PPP: 8.6 trillion USD), the high tech and logistics core of Europe.
These 3 countries already today have the closest partnership within the EU due to similar cultural and fiscal values.
This Confederation could be operational in the shortest time.
Can the Swiss, Czech, Slovenes, and Danes join? in principle yes, if they want to. Belgium only Flanders.

Retreating ice at Alaska's Mendenhall Glacier is exposing ancient tree stumps. Carbon dating places the stumps at around 1,000 to 2,000 years old. Forests once grew where ice now sits. Glaciers have been gradually pulling back since the end of the Little Ice Age, since the 1800s. As they recede, they're exposing land that was previously ice-free as recently as 1,000 years ago (when CO2 levels were far lower than they are today). We see this not only in Alaska, but across the Arctic. Retreating ice is uncovering soils, wood, and organic material. In Greenland, buried soils, plant remains, and insects have also been found beneath the ice. These are direct physical records of far warmer temperatures in the recent past. Warmth brings vegetation and biodiversity. Cold brings hardship and advancing ice sheets. It is obvious which conditions life prefers.

In 1667 the Dutch sailed up the Medway, burned the English fleet at anchor, and towed away the HMS Royal Charles as a trophy.
It was England's flagship. The Dutch put it on public display in the Netherlands and organised day trips for foreign dignitaries to come and stare at it.
King Charles II protested personally. The Dutch eventually scrapped the ship but kept the stern decoration.
It has been hanging in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam since 1885.

So let's fast forward to 2 months from now.
The war in Iran is long over and that terrorist nation is no longer a threat. Hamas and Hezbollah have been wiped out.
Gas prices have fallen below $2 a gallon. Stocks are back to their all-time highs.
With the Iranian threat gone in the Middle East investment pours into the area. Rebuilding starts in Gaza.
The US economy takes off as all of that newly onshored business starts hiring.
And once again Democrats have nothing.
I'm feeling pretty good about the midterms.
