- Treats women as legally 50% of men
- Executes LGBT, minorities, activists, opponents
- Has ruined a country's enviornment

That’s the core problem.
Moral clarity is gone. Authoritarian regimes are empowered. Dissidents are sidelined.
If the @UN won’t stand for victims, then it is standing with their authoritarians.

Wonderful that you share this Steve. For years Iranians have been powerless to remove this despotic regime due to the appeasement strategy by western governments in the name of “economic interests”. The same can be said for the posturing of the so called ‘left’ who say they oppose this regime but with their words and actions cheer them on. The irony being that in the name of “anti imperialist resistance” the left are siding with literal fascism and rebranding radical Islamist extremism as virtue. Iranians will not forget how they stood in the way of a revolution for freedom that tens of thousands of Iranians have paid for with their lives. Mana Neystani’s cartoon captures it all so well.
