Demography is destiny. But bold state policies could reverse these trends to ensure a prosperous & affordable future for Wisconsin.

NPN examines legislation that would let companies- including AI data centers- generate their own electricity. This “Bring Your Own Power” approach shields residents from rising utility rates & opens new opportunities for economic growth in the Northwoods. northwoodspolicy.org/bring-your-own…

If Wisconsin wants to attract data centers and minimize water impacts, the solution isn’t to chase away investment. It’s to build more generation, modernize the grid and diversify power sources. In other words: Do the hard work of abundance instead of the easy work of saying no. @BryceTheNoble @CapTimes

Industrial Strength is a core component of National Strength. National strength deters conflict. Energy is foundational to every industry. Electricity is no longer a commodity, but rather a capability.

This AI stuff is cool because it shows you what’s possible — especially when you’re living in techno-industrial revolutions.

Great report from @WisconsinMC - Wisconsin is also the Midwest’s 2nd most expensive energy state. We are very concerned with our ability to attract new firms & WI entrepreneurs. Let’s make Wisconsin America’s muscle again.

Everything in life [and society] is a choice.

🚨Chris Wright: High Electric Bills Are A Political Choice in America In a WSJ interview, Energy Secretary Chris Wright blames rising electricity costs on policy choices, not #AI data centers or bad luck. Key points: ⚡️Electricity prices up 6.7% YoY in Dec, nearly 40% since 2020—due to adopting "UK-style" energy policies under Biden/Obama, like forcing coal plant closures and wind/solar mandates. ⚡️States with Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) have 50% higher prices than those without; 28 states enforce them, driving costs up. ⚡️In Democrat-governed RPS states, rates rose 2x inflation over last 5 years; in GOP states, only half inflation rate—real prices stable. ⚡️Biden's $5T stimulus (for $1.5T GDP gap) fueled inflation across the board, but fixable via policy reversals. Bottom line: Affordable, reliable energy is available—high bills stem from politicians/regulators, not the market. US already seeing record low gas prices; electricity fixes coming. @WSJ #powergeneration #affordability #gasprices #datacenters Watch @SecretaryWright's remarks here:

The grid is close to collapsing & traditional approaches are years out. Thankful for gas, coal and nuclear keeping the lights on & heat flowing. But we need more, fast.
