@TridentDeck I feel like there used to be such a thing but maybe I was just young and dumb. Now we’ve got a certain group of people who try to manufacture it & it just makes us more cynical

@OakTreeStatus When you see the players from non-US countries talk about what this means to them, so much of their patriotism seems to be about how much they love the people in their homeland and want to do something special for them. American patriotism is…not that

#Rockies 1B Blaine Crim, out for much of spring due to a left oblique strain, has been cleared for baseball activities.
Crim could see in-game action later this week. The 28-year-old has been limited to two games and four plate appearances so far.

I think Willis is a very good QB to take a shot at. If the offensive line is fine, he'll be fine.

Rockies questions I have:
1) who starts at second base? Amador has gotten the most opportunity; Karros' play at 3rd makes Castro a possibility; Julien has been banged up/not hitting; Freeman has played mostly OF; Ritter (2 recent starts) is a dark horse.
My guess: Castro

@DStarce15 Problem is that his defense isn’t very good, he’s only 2B or 1B, and his being a lefty doesn’t help much (especially at 1B where you’ve got Johnston &/or Rumfield who are both lefty). He’s a “bat-over-glove” guy whose bat isn’t distinguishing itself from the other options

@OakTreeStatus Why doesn’t Julien make sense as a bench bat? Can play multiple infield positions and doesn’t have options left unlike Johnston/Ritter etc. Are his pinch-hitting stats atrocious?
