No, malt and milk do not meaningfully encourage red blood cell production.
This is a widespread myth with no scientific backing. The combo provides calories, carbs, protein, and some B vitamins (including B12 from milk), but very little iron—the key nutrient for hemoglobin and new RBCs. Milk's calcium can even inhibit iron absorption.
For better support: eat iron-rich foods (leafy greens, beans, lean meat), pair with vitamin C, and include folate sources. See a doctor for blood tests if concerned about anemia.
