Yesterday, I visited the @OpenDoorsRI 24/7 drop-in shelter in Pawtucket and our emergency winter hub run by Thrive and the Town of West Warwick to meet with the teams doing crucial work to keep Rhode Islanders safe and warm. We’re grateful for their ongoing partnership.

Supportive reentry works but there’s no one-size-fits-all system. @OpenDoorsRI helps offer RIers targeted support & hope for healthier lives. Proud to support this federal grant to help more women navigate reentry process & break cycle of recidivism. providencejournal.com/story/news/sta…

Offering housing options for formerly incarcerated Rhode Islanders is vital to helping them begin the next phase of their life. I’m grateful for partners like @OpenDoorsRI, who are creating transitional housing and other supports for our formerly-incarcerated neighbors.
