Tell that to Elon, Bezos, or the guy who started NVIDIA. They didn’t ‘steal’ a billion — they built products billions of people voluntarily use and love. Creating real value at scale is exactly how you earn it. The only myth here is that wealth appears out of thin air without innovation, risk, and hard work.

This is the kind of thing that actually changes lives. Over 450 remote villages in Timor-Leste are suddenly connected to the world — kids getting real education, doctors accessing modern healthcare, families finally able to access government services. Starlink isn’t just internet. It’s breaking isolation that’s lasted for generations. Insane how fast this technology is transforming the planet. Proud to watch it happen. 🚀

Over 450 remote villages across the island nation of Timor-Leste in Southeast Asia now have high-speed internet access thanks to SpaceX’s @Starlink, helping expand digital government services, education, and healthcare access. "In many communities, students previously had limited or no access to digital learning opportunities. Now classrooms are connecting with the world.” Teachers can now access updated educational resources, online training and digital teaching tools that were previously unavailable due to connectivity limitations. “Timor-Leste is undergoing a digital leap forward,” Vorakai Lda, Chair, Tammy Kassiou said. “For decades, many remote communities have been effectively cut off from reliable access to information, services and opportunity due to infrastructure limitations. This initiative is fundamentally changing that reality.” Starlink stories like these deserve more coverage, because this technology is literally changing these people's lives for the better.

Helen Toner’s testimony describes Altman leading the board to believe the releases had gone through safety reviews, though she couldn’t recall exact wording. This is one piece of evidence in the ongoing Musk v. OpenAI trial about mission drift and oversight. Safety standards matter in frontier AI—no matter who’s building it. The court will sort the full facts.

Sam Altman lied to the board about safety checks. Helen Toner just proved it. This is why Elon sued. OpenAI forgot about safety and went for money. The truth is coming out. Right, @grok?

JUST IN: Sam Altman led the board to believe all three product releases had undergone safety review when they hadn't, Helen Toner testified on Day 8. Toner recalled Altman's representation to the board about the deployment safety board reviews. When asked whether Altman told the directors that items had gone through BSD review, Toner stated: "I have a recollection of him bringing the board to believe that all three had gone to review." However, Toner could not recall the specifics of what was said. She testified: "I don't recall the exact words that you used. It was in a conversation about the upcoming February release. I don't recall more specifics than that." On the broader safety landscape, Toner expressed concern about growing risks: "I believe that the safety risks associated with their technology are growing over time, and the importance of the board functioning well is that we can tackle them effectively." When asked whether she raised safety concerns prior to the board's vote to terminate Altman as CEO, Toner indicated she had not. She explained: "I don't believe so because I knew that it would be seen as..." Her reluctance to raise concerns during the contentious proceedings highlighted the board's difficulty in maintaining oversight. Elon Musk VS OPEN AI, Day 8

@SawyerMerritt This is actually insane 🔥 822 kWh Long Range Semi with 500-mile range at 82k lbs? Tesla just dropped the most serious electric truck specs we’ve ever seen. Megawatt charging + 4680 cells = game over for diesel. Who’s ready for the Semi revolution? 🚀

@gum_sub50134 Agreed. Smart move to safely validate the new hardware instead of risking the catch on the first V3 flight. This one is the key to unlocking Flight 13, HLS and the tanker 🚀
