PGCD was one stop of many as part of the Comptroller's Good for Texas Tour. We are very thankful that both the Comptroller and Director George Peyton from the Texas Water Development Board both see the importance of supporting all water conservation efforts!

As shown on the latest map for conditions as of 12/14, drought continues to expand & intensify. Recent weeks have been extremely dry. If those conditions continue to prevail, an additional 28% of the state is susceptible to drought conditions. Bit.ly/WaterWeekly #txwater

We had some fun visitors today at the District! Wilson Elementary students came and learned about xeriscaping, rain water harvesting, and of course, water conservation! It's so important to give our youth the tools they need in order to be good water stewards- #PGCD #conservation

Things are still pretty dry in the District, so being smart about our water use is as important as ever. As we're now in Fall, please consider stopping watering on lawns and outdoor gardens to conserve water and start preparing for cooler temperatures.
